Reservics lets you manage several restaurant locations from one Shopify admin, each with its own hours, capacity, booking rules, deposits, and staff. Go to the Locations page to create a venue, then open its detail tabs to configure it. The number of locations you can run depends on your plan: Free allows 1, Pro allows 3, and Advance is unlimited.
Before you start #
- Each location is fully independent. Hours, capacity, deposits, refund policies, and staff are set per location.
- Your plan sets how many locations you can run. See the table below.
- Diners pick their location at the top of the booking widget when a shop has more than one.
Plan limits for locations #
| Plan | Locations allowed |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Pro ($9.99/mo) | 3 |
| Advance ($19.99/mo) | Unlimited |
A 14-day free trial is available on paid plans. Billing is handled through Shopify’s billing approval flow. See Pricing and plans for the full comparison.
How to create a new location #
Open Reservics in your Shopify admin.
Go to the Locations page. You will see a list of your venues and a KPI strip at the top.
Click to create a new location and give it a name.
Open the new location to configure its settings (see the next section).
If you are on the Free plan and already have 1 location, you will need to upgrade to Pro or Advance to add more.
Per-location settings #
Open any location from the Locations page to reach its detail view. Settings are split across tabs so each venue can run differently.
| Tab | What you set |
|---|---|
| Overview | Basic details for the venue |
| Hours & Schedule | Weekly opening hours and shifts |
| Capacity & Tables | Total seats and min/max party size |
| Booking Rules | Slot interval, buffer time, advance notice, approval mode |
| Payments & Cancellation | Deposits, refund window, no-show fee |
| Team | Staff members and roles for this venue |
Notes on plan-gated settings:
- Multi-shift scheduling and date overrides (holidays) are Pro+. See Operating hours and shifts.
- Deposits, refund policies, and no-show fees are Pro+. See Reservation deposits and No-show fees and refunds.
- Staff roles on the Team tab are Pro+. The Free plan is single-operator.
How diners choose a location #
When your shop has more than one location, the storefront booking widget shows a location picker as the first step. The diner selects a venue, then picks party size, date, and time for that specific location. Availability, capacity, and deposits all follow the rules of the chosen venue.
You can also filter your Dashboard and Bookings pages by location to see one venue at a time.
Deleting a location safely #
Reservics protects your reservation history. A location that has active future reservations cannot be deleted. This prevents you from accidentally losing bookings that diners are still expecting.
To remove a location, first cancel or let its upcoming reservations pass, then delete it once it has no active future bookings.
What happens if you downgrade #
If your shop downgrades to a plan with a lower location limit, nothing is deleted. Locations beyond the new cap become read-only until you re-upgrade.
| Situation | Result |
|---|---|
| Within your plan’s location limit | Full edit access to every location |
| Over the limit after a downgrade | Extra locations become read-only, no data is lost |
| Re-upgrade later | Read-only locations become editable again |
This means you can safely move between plans without losing any venue, hours, or booking data.
Frequently asked questions #
How many restaurant locations can I add in Reservics? #
The number depends on your plan. The Free plan allows 1 location, Pro allows 3, and Advance allows unlimited locations. You can upgrade at any time from the Plan & Billing page to raise your limit.
Does each location have its own hours and capacity? #
Yes. Every location is independent. You set its hours, shifts, total capacity, party-size limits, booking rules, deposits, refund policy, and staff separately on that location’s detail tabs.
Can I delete a location that has bookings? #
No. A location with active future reservations cannot be deleted, which protects your upcoming bookings. Cancel or wait out those reservations first, then delete the location once it has no active future bookings.
What happens to my extra locations if I downgrade my plan? #
Nothing is deleted. If you drop to a plan with a lower limit, locations beyond the new cap become read-only until you re-upgrade. All hours, settings, and booking history are kept intact.
How do diners pick which location to book? #
When your shop has more than one location, the storefront widget shows a location picker as the first step of booking. The diner selects a venue, then chooses party size, date, and time. Availability and deposits follow that venue’s own rules.
