The Reservics Dashboard is the home screen for your reservation data inside Shopify admin. It shows four key metrics (today’s bookings, upcoming 7 days, deposit revenue this week, and no-show rate), a weekly bookings chart, and a “Tonight’s Schedule” list. Use the date-range and per-location filters to focus on a specific period or venue. Everything updates from your live reservations.
Before you start #
The Dashboard is available on every plan, including Free. Some figures it displays depend on plan features:
- Deposit revenue only appears if you charge deposits, which is a Pro and Advance feature.
- The location filter is most useful when you run more than one venue. Multiple locations are a Pro and Advance feature (Free is limited to one location).
You do not need any setup to view the Dashboard. As soon as you take bookings, the numbers populate.
How to open the Dashboard #
Open your Shopify admin.
Go to Apps and select Reservics.
In the Reservics menu, click Dashboard.
The four KPIs explained #
At the top of the Dashboard you see four metric cards (KPIs). Here is what each one measures.
| KPI | What it measures | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Today’s bookings | The number of reservations scheduled for today | A quick read on how busy your floor will be tonight |
| Upcoming 7 days | Total reservations across the next seven days | Helps you spot busy and slow days ahead so you can staff accordingly |
| Deposit revenue this week | The value of deposits collected this week through Shopify Checkout | Shows guaranteed income from prepaid bookings (Pro and Advance only) |
| No-show rate | The percentage of bookings marked No-show out of completed bookings | A high rate may mean you should require deposits or send more reminders |
What “no-show rate” really means #
A no-show is a booking you mark as No-show when the guest does not arrive. Marking it releases the seat and can trigger a waitlist offer. The no-show rate is the share of your bookings that ended as no-shows. If this number is high, two Pro features can help: deposits (which give guests a reason to show up) and extra email reminders.
The weekly bookings chart #
Below the KPIs, the weekly bookings chart plots how many reservations fall on each day. Use it to compare days at a glance and to see your busiest periods. The chart respects the filters you set, so changing the date range or location updates the bars.
Tonight’s Schedule #
“Tonight’s Schedule” lists the reservations coming up for the current service, in time order. It is your at-a-glance run sheet for the floor: who is booked, for what party size, and when. Use it during service to see what is arriving next without opening the full Bookings list.
For full reservation management (status changes, edits, and bulk actions), open the Bookings page.
Using the date-range and location filters #
Two filters control what every part of the Dashboard shows.
- Use the date-range filter to choose the period you want to analyze, such as this week or a custom range.
- Use the location filter to view a single venue or all of them. This appears when you have more than one location.
- The KPIs, the weekly chart, and Tonight’s Schedule all update to match your selection.
Frequently asked questions #
Is the Reservics dashboard available on the Free plan? #
Yes. The Dashboard and its analytics are available on every plan, including Free. Some figures depend on paid features, for example deposit revenue only shows if you charge deposits, which requires Pro or Advance.
How is the no-show rate calculated? #
The no-show rate is the percentage of bookings marked as No-show compared with your completed bookings. You set a booking to No-show from the Bookings page when a guest does not arrive, which also releases the seat. A high rate is a signal to consider deposits or more reminders.
Why is my deposit revenue showing as zero? #
Deposit revenue counts deposits paid through Shopify Checkout this week. It shows zero if you have not collected any deposits, or if you are on the Free plan, since deposits are a Pro and Advance feature. You can turn on deposits per location under Payments & Cancellation.
Can I see analytics for just one location? #
Yes. Use the location filter at the top of the Dashboard to focus on a single venue. The KPIs, weekly chart, and Tonight’s Schedule all update to that location. The filter is most useful on Pro and Advance, which support multiple locations.
Can I export my reservation data? #
The Dashboard is for at-a-glance reporting. To export reservations as a CSV file, open the Bookings page and use CSV export, which is a Pro and Advance feature. The export includes columns such as code, customer, date, time, party, deposit, and status.
